𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠:
Doesn’t feel right when I see profiles filled with fake followers getting PRs from brands to promote them. Who are you promoting someone’s hard work to? To your bot followers who you purchased?
Those of you who don’t know how it works here’s a sneak peak;
You make an insta account, label it “blogger” purchase 10k followers and start posting. Then you start approaching brands to send you their products so you promote them to your audience. But there’s no audience, it’s just robotic audience that you purchased.
Won’t we call that “haram” earring? Since you are asking a brand to send you their products which they put their blood and sweat into, and they trust you with your 10 thousand followers thinking they will see their product and out of those 10 thousand, 5 might show interest. But there’s no real audience to show for it.
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐬:
Go to their profile, check followers count, say 10k
Check likes/comments on their posts, 100 likes and 1 comment
That’s how you know, you know.
It’s so sad to see people doing it, and not feeling ashamed about it, and then we want change as a nation.
This isn’t a small thing, do you have any idea how small businesses are struggling everyday to sell their one item? I am not sure if anyone would stop doing it after my post, but at least someone had to speak. I am glad I did.
Oh btw, that’s my Shein jacket I unboxed on my stories and got dms asking more pics of it. There you go.... swipe to see closeup shots
