I don’t know about you but those numbers scare me!!! No wonder preventable lifestyle diseases are on the rise and if nothing changes this is only going to get worse 😕😢 . We are part of the ‘Health Starts - Family Health Study’ and so far the results have been AMAZING! ☑️ 60% of kids involved are missing less school days due to sickness ☑️ 56% are taking less medications ☑️ 71% are drinking more water ☑️ 66% are visiting the doctor less each year ☑️ 71% are consuming less fast food and soft drinks ☑️ 61% were consuming more fruit and vegetables! . I got you!! ⁣ No more uhmmm’s and hmmmm’s and “what should I take for a snack” this nutritious and healthy snack is beyond delicious and great for ‘those’ moments.⁣ .⁣ 𝘐𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴:⁣ 1 cup of oats ⁣ 2 tbsp of pepita seeds⁣ 2 tbsp of sunflower seeds ⁣ 1 tbsp of chia seeds⁣ 1/4 cup of shredded coconut ⁣ 1 tbsp of happy way vanilla protein powder⁣ 1/4 cup and 1 tbsp of melted coconut oil ⁣ 1/4 cup of brown rice syrup ⁣ .⁣ 𝘔𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘥:⁣ 1. In a bowl add: oats, sunflower seeds, pepitas, chia seeds and coconut then mix and vanilla powder.⁣ 2. Add in oil and brown rice syrup, mix evenly through the dry mixture.⁣ 3. Line a baking tray with baking paper and put into freezer for an hour. ⁣ 4. DAY 8 RECAP: Today is a busy day so I want to keep this short and simple! Today was a pretty normal day- I ended up eating less than today, just because I wasn’t as hungry, and also extremely busy prepping for Exams for school! I’ve especially learned that Consistency is Key! And this challenge is getting a lot easier!

HOLIDAY GUACAMOLE 🎅🏽 🥑 the PERFECT Christmas Party Appy! . Seriously.. I can’t believe how easy and good this tastes! And how on point the colours are for this time of year. . Ingredients: 230g avocado 20g onion 8g maple syrup (or more sweetness add more!) 25g dried cranberries 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp Cumin Few dashes of pepper. 1.Mash avocado first in a bowl. 2. Add all other ingredients and mix. Serve with your choice of crackers or chips. We used Triscuits Jalapeño flavour crackers and it was 💣 . Up your avocado amount and ingredients for a larger party! .
