TRAINING TIP .
If you train to heart rate or power it’s not necessary to constantly ride at the top end of your training zones, there are going to be days when the legs are good and it’s easy to ride at the top of the zone, but then there’ll be days that just riding at the lower end of the zone is a bit of a struggle, but you are still in your zone so you will still be getting a training benefit, unless that is it’s a constant struggle at the bottom end of the zone then maybe you need a rest. If you are constantly pushing to ride at the upper end of the zone I’d say you’re training too hard most of the time. Zones have a range to allow for good and bad days, the zones will feel quite different at the end of a training block than at the start when you are fresher after an easy week. .
